Manager of Personal LinesWestan Insurance GroupHi, I’m Rebecca Jones. I am a wife and proud mother of 4! (two children of my own and two bonus children). Outside of my “day job” I attend First Methodist Church of Union City, TN where I am a member of the choir and the Youth Committee. I also serve as a volunteer for a Non-Profit organization, Healing Horses, that provides equine therapy for disabled persons. My future with that program includes becoming a PATH certified instructor.
Professionally, I have been employed with Westan Insurance Group, Inc. since 2015. We have 7 locations across west Tennessee and 1 location in Knoxville. I oversee the operations of our personal lines division for those locations. In addition to my role as the personal lines manager for our Agency, I serve in sales, specializing in high value clients. My favorite thing about my job is the opportunity it gives me to build up and equip other agents to become successful, as they serve their clients. Internally, I serve on a committee that focuses on our agency management system. That role allows me to assist in implementing processes that lay the groundwork for us as an organization to work more efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis. Externally, I attend an annual conference sponsored by our agency management system, Applied. This participation gives me the opportunity to meet with similar agencies across the country and learn what our agency can do better. I have served on expert panels for that conference as well as presented on topics to help other people in business that are in leadership or management roles. I have been blessed with wonderful opportunities in my career that have allowed me to learn from the very best. I want to give back and serve in any capacity that allows me to help others. |
