SVP, Director of TreasuryBuiltwell BankRachell is an accomplished banking professional with a career in commercial lending, treasury, and retail banking. Currently serving as the SVP, Director of Treasury at Builtwell Bank, Rachell successfully established a comprehensive Treasury Management department, overseeing its development from operational infrastructure to sales strategies. This included designing and implementing streamlined processes, enhancing customer onboarding, and delivering tailored training programs for both employees and clients to improve overall efficiency and customer experience.
Rachell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Bryan College. Recognized as one of the ICBA’s Top 40 Under 40 and named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Tennessee for 2024, she has earned industry accolades for her leadership and innovative contributions. She holds multiple certifications in banking and commercial lending and is currently pursuing the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification. Before her banking career, Rachell owned and operated a successful business for 14 years. The entrepreneurial skills she developed continue to guide her work, helping businesses in her community grow and thrive. Her experience fuels her passion for mentoring and uplifting others, particularly women striving to advance in their careers. Rachell is committed to inspiring future leaders and providing the same support she received from her own mentors. An active community member, Rachell serves on the board of a nonprofit organization and volunteers with several charitable initiatives. She lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with her husband and three children. A lifelong learner and creative thinker, Rachell also enjoys interior design and investing in real estate. She hopes to inspire others by sharing her journey and encouraging resilience, confidence, and growth. |
