Vice President of Creative ServicesEternal Word Television NetworkSpanning over 4 decades Len Marino has had a diverse career in advertising, production, and television. Starting right out of Tulane University writing copy and producing commercials at a small New Orleans agency, this early experience laid the foundation for what was to become his lifelong vocation.
After a year, Len ventured back to New York City, where he would continue his career on Madison Avenue and then to Boston, working on soft drink, packaged goods, automotive and financial institution accounts. Transitioning to the production side, Len began directing commercials. His expertise in this area led him to his first network position at CNN, as part of their Creative Services department. From there, his journey took him to Encore/Starz, where he played a role in launching the Encore Thematic Multiplex. Len's journey continued as he joined Hallmark Entertainment where he launched The Kermit Channel and as SVP of Creative Services was a part of the team responsible for the launch of the Hallmark Channel. With a wealth of experience under his belt, Len took the next step and established his own agency, where he and his business partner catered to clients such as Encore, Starz, Disney, Baby Einstein, Dish Network, and The Jim Henson Company to name a few. He is particularly proud of their work with Baby Einstein. In the face of life's challenges, including a near-fatal motorcycle accident and a bout with cancer, Len Marino underwent a profound personal transformation. This newfound perspective led him to EWTN, where he initially worked as a consultant before being offered the position of Vice President of Creative Services. A role he is forever grateful for, where he leads a team of talented creative individuals who are dedicated to the EWTN’s mission and the powerful impact it has on its global audience. He and his wife, Lorna, have been married for 40 years and have a daughter who has pursued a successful career as a screen writer and stand-up comic. |
