Donnia has worked extensively in Revit Architecture. She has been using CAD for over 30 years, and her experience covers a variety of fields, including architecture, atomic waste removal and containment, civil engineering, and log home design. She has taught college-level courses and was the manager of an Autodesk Authorized Training Center for several years.

​Donnia was named the Architect/Engineering/Construction Community Leader of the Year in 2023 for her contributions to the Autodesk community. She blogs under her brand Revit Hints and Hacks, giving help to others who are using the software. She earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Technological and Adult Education from the University of Tennessee. Her associate's degree is in Architecture.
